The Sage Hotel Wollongong boasts a fantastic location near the beach and local landmarks like the Wollongong Botanic Garden. While the room size was generous and the beds comfortable, the service fell short of expectations, with slow check-ins and inconveniences like a malfunctioning lift. the lovely reception staff and outdoor swimming pool provided a nice touch for relaxation despite the shortcomings.

Extremely pleasant and well laid out unit with an old fashioned decor. Location just off beach, cafes and restaurants and the stadium as well as such clubs as Wollongong Golf Club and Illawarra Steelers🙂👍

Property was great modern, I really enjoyed the stay.
It had very central location close to a multi-purpose indoor arena. The area was beach, an ideal base for me. The restaurant was nice for lunch here, I had wonderful dishes.

I was really let down when I found out that despite paying extra for water views, all I got was a dull car park panorama. It's frustrating to pay more for something and not get what you expect. Total disappointment.

Bright hotel with a lobby bar, everything was great. Breakfast for another option. Reasonably large room with a king bed, I had a comfortable stay. The most important was the staff - pleasant and amazingly nice people.

1. Check out time of 10 am is ridiculous. 2. Credit card surcharge of 1% is something we don't expect from a hotel. 3. For the amount paid for the room rate I would have expected to have been given free car parking.

I recently stayed here for a weekend getaway and had an fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met right from check-in. My room on the 9th floor was spacious, boasting a lovely balcony with a stunning view of the coast. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities, including great air conditioning, made for a relaxing stay. I appreciated the convenient location, just a short walk from the beach and local dining spots.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Pleasant and clean. Close location to where we wanted to go.
A bit expensive for what you get, which was nothing out of the ordinary. Should at least have free internet. There was no parking on site available for us, which I had expected.

The hotel was very well appointed. Particularly liked it's location close to the walk along the beachfront and harbour. The lobby/bar was very comfortable for a relaxing drink on arrival. The menu was excellent and the waitress who looked after us in the restaurant for dinner was particularly friendly and helpful. The meal was just about perfect.
Apart from the bed being a little soft for our liking couldn't really fault anything

The view from the room was fantastic, overlooking the beach. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful handwritten note wishing my wife a happy birthday. The spa bath added a nice touch to our romantic getaway, making the experience feel a bit more special.
Lift failure 🚫, dirty remote, overpriced breakfast, stained carpet.
